In order to prevent widescale panic and mass looting I just want you all to know that Ayad and I have reconciled. Yeah, like you really care. I'm sure some of you were losing sleep over it.
It's rough - this medium-distance relationship thingie. I say medium-distance because he lives only a couple hours away by car and 15 minutes by plane. Not that anyone of us can afford to fly.
I don't have a car so Ayad does most of the commuting, coming in to see me on weekends or on the odd day off. I miss living with him. Since he moved out I had to move in with my folks which I have to tell is not all that fun. Just when I thought I could get away from the chore chart on the fridge, no. I'm down for doing the laundry and walking my step-dad's new puppy this week. Could be worse. Plus I now contribute to the mortgage.
Anyway, having Ayad some of the time is much better than none of the time. Love you!

So Ayad and I had another long argument last night. He says I need to find my ass up there and visit him for a change. With what - my bicycle? It's way more convenient for him to see me. He's in school and I work full time. I can't just take off arbitrary Fridays and Mondays when I feel like it and expect to have a job.
Ayad: Baby, be reasonable. It's not like I don't want to see you. Now quit complaining about me behind my back to our friends. That ain't right. I never did that to you!!

Found this photo on the web and had to post it. It reminds me of my friend Gorolothrien. The Matrix Elf: Reloaded has that same bad ass look that Gora gets when she's having a bad day or just plain constipated from eating too much icecream and no fibre. You don't want to mess with this woman when she hasn't gone for 2 days. Scary. Her eyes are like lasers, they'll cut right through you and you wish you'd never been born in world where people like her exist. Otherwise, she's a sweet girl.

Having read the Rings trilogy and many articles about Viggo Mortensen I realize what a brilliant actor he must be. The Aragorn from Peter Jackson's films is a loner, very quiet and stoic. When Aragorn does open his mouth, he has something important to say. Viggo Mortensen on the other hand has been described as extremely outgoing and chatty. Yes, Viggo could talk the hind leg off a horse! He's also been accused by his castmated of having the ability to chat for hours about absolute rubbish. Viggo's quite multi-talented and handsome like his alter-ego. Does he have issues with women like Aragorn? Let me not go there.
I'm not sure I want to see Hidalgo, even though it looks exciting in the previews. Might ruin Viggo in my eyes. I have a feeling he might struggle for a while to break out of the mold of Aragorn, son of Arathorn.
